Clare L. E. Foster is a WGA screenwriter based in London and Los Angeles, specialising in adapting true stories and novels. She has worked with e.g. Mike Newell, Kristin Scott-Thomas and Geena Davis for companies such as Fox Searchlight, Film Four, New Line Cinema, Sony/The Bridge, and Dogstar Films/Disney. She won the Eleanor Perry Screenwriting Award from Women in Film, the Prix des Comites des Fetes from Mesnil-Le-Roi, Paris, and a Certificate of Merit from the Malta Golden Knight Film Festival. She has taught screenwriting, playwriting, and film directing for Film Independent and UCLA, and film and theatre history for University College London and the University of Cambridge.
